Victoria's Secret Fashion Show
Victoria's Secret's fashion show went off without a hitch on Wednesday night with my favorite German mama Heidi Klum leading the charge. The models as always look beautiful but a fashionista like myself wonders what is the purpose of this again? Victoria's Secret has been in a rut the past few years and I am sure the current economic climate has not improved the situation, so while I'm sure people will tune in the real question is will they buy? WHO??????????? Yes, Michelle Trachtenberg. I don't blame you if you're wondering why Buffy's little sister/ some Gossip girl somebody has a line with Coach. She definitely has an excellent manager. According to Michelle, “Getting the opportunity to design jewelry for Coach’s Poppy collection was too exciting to pass up. The collections are perfect representations of my whimsical attitude towards fashion and have that great mix of girly and edgy that I love.” Frankly, the jewelry looks like something I've seen at Claire's when I was in 7th grade, it was overpriced then and it's overpriced now. Michelle Trachtenberg for Poppy hits Coach stores December 1 and retails for $78-$328.

When will we get the Versace family movie? Newsweek has a scathing expose on the House Gianni built. Among the amazing details revealed: Under Gianni Versace's tutelage sales were $1 billion today less than half. Since Gianni Versace's murder the brand's been constantly mismanaged by Donatella and brother Santo. Luxury retailers like Neiman Marcus and Bergdorf Goodman no longer carry the brand. Just as recently as last month while Donatella was spending money hosting the annual black-tie gala at the Whitney Museum and traveling to Brazil for Rio Rocks 350 employees were getting pink slips.
